Best After Christmas Sales

If you're a bargain hunter, you're probably already aware that Christmas and after Christmas sales can yield huge deals on everything from clothing to electronics, and more.  Christmas sales typically begin in earnest on Black Friday, the day after Thanksgiving, with retailers offering deep discounts on must-have items for the holiday season.  Major retailers like WalMart, Best Buy, Sears and Target are just some of the stores offering bargains to shoppers who brave the mobs to snag deals.

After Christmas sales usually get going promptly on the day after Christmas, with some stories opening doors extra early.  Shoppers who hit stores on December 26 might find merchants offering significant savings on holiday merchandise and other items.  In some cases, item's will be marked down as much as 50% to 75% off (or even more).  After Christmas sales may last one or two days, or they may be offered right through the New Years holiday.

Some stores may offer "doorbuster" after Christmas sales, with some opening doors beginning as early as Christmas Day.  During after Christmas sales, shoppers may be able to secure huge discounts on clothing, electronics, cookware and toys.

How can you find the best after Christmas sales?  First, determine which stores offer the items you think you want - if you need electronics, for example. you might zero in on Target, Walmart and Best Buy.  Check each retailer's website carefully - some sites may post special after Christmas flyers early to let shoppers know what items will be discounted.  In some cases, these retailers may even offer these discounts for online purchases.

Check the newspaper on Christmas Day - a lot of stores will pack the paper with circulars advertising their sale items.  Also, check retailers Facebook sites and Twitter feeds...some stores may post deals early there.
